  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by mixing warm water and sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine warmed milk, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour one cup at a time until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl covered with plastic wrap. Let it rise in a warm area until doubled (about 1 hour).
  6. Punch down the dough and divide into equal pieces (12-15). Shape into balls and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F. Let shaped rolls rise for another 30 minutes before baking for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
