  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil until smooth.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon skin-side down. Bake for 12-15 minutes until flaky.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
