  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. For the sauce, combine brown sugar, mustard, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl.
  5. Spread half of the sauce over the meatloaf before baking; reserve the rest for glazing later.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes or until an internal thermometer reads 160°F (70°C). Brush on remaining sauce halfway through baking.
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
