Stuffed pasta shells are a comforting dish that will warm your heart and delight your taste buds. These jumbo pasta shells are filled with a creamy ricotta mixture, topped with rich marinara sauce, and baked to perfection.   • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta shells for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, garlic powder, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fill each shell with about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture.
  4. Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish. Place the filled shells side by side in the dish. Top with remaining marinara and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving; garnish with extra basil.
