  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Sauté ground beef with salt and pepper until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Layer dry lasagna noodles over the meat-sauce mixture, breaking as needed.
