  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, simmer leftover marinade until thickened (about 5 minutes). Stir occasionally.
  5. Just before serving, add green onions and sesame seeds to the sauce.
  6. Drizzle extra sauce over the plated chicken before serving.
