  • 1 lb lean ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 8 slider buns (brioche or whole wheat)
  • 8 slices fresh mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Shape mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan until bubbly.
  5. Remove meatballs from oven, spoon marinara over each, top with mozzarella slices, and return to oven briefly until cheese melts.
  6. Assemble sliders by placing meatballs on toasted bottom halves of buns; add more marinara if desired before capping with top halves.
