  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture; mix until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough onto a floured surface; knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Punch down the risen dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet, creating dimples all over.
  6. Evenly scatter cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil leaves on top; drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
