Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook ditalini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until they soften.
  4. Combine the drained ditalini pasta with the tomato mixture in the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, stirring gently.
  5. Remove from heat and mix in freshly grated Parmesan cheese and torn basil leaves until well combined.
  6. Serve warm, adding more cheese if desired.
