  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix (1 oz)
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix (1 oz)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your crockpot by spraying it lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place the boneless chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix; sprinkle evenly over chicken.
  4. Add butter on top of the seasoned chicken and layer sliced pepperoncini peppers.
  5. Pour chicken broth around the sides of the crockpot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours until the chicken is fork-tender.
