Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Boil salted water and cook fettuccine until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the shrimp: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes until pink; remove from pan.
  3. Create the sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and stir until slightly thickened.
  4. Add cheese & seasoning: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine: Return shrimp to the skillet along with drained pasta, tossing to coat evenly in sauce.
  6. Serve & garnish: Plate the pasta and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving warm.
