  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add cubed chicken breasts and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Preheat your grill or oven broiler to medium-high heat.
  3. 3. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers alternately with bell pepper and onion pieces.
