  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg (for filling)
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups tomato sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Mix flour and one egg until a dough forms. Knead for about 10 minutes until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Make the Filling: Combine ricotta, Parmesan, remaining egg, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well mixed.
  3. Roll Out the Pasta: Divide dough into quarters and roll each piece thinly using a pasta machine or rolling pin.
  4. Fill the Ravioli: Place spoonfuls of filling on one pasta sheet. Brush edges with water, cover with another sheet, and press to seal.
