  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 green onions, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil; let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
