  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Slice flank steak thinly against the grain into 1/4-inch pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Cook broccoli for about 3-4 minutes until bright green.
  4. Push broccoli aside and add marinated beef to the pan. Stir-fry until no longer pink.
  5. Pour any remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
