  • 3 cups fresh apples (Granny Smith), peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press mixture firmly into an 8×8-inch baking pan to form the crust.
  2. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, brown sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg if using; mix until creamy.
  3. Gently fold in sliced apples into the cream cheese mixture. Pour over the prepared crust.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
