  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook for 2-3 minutes until al dente. Drain, reserving some cooking water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they burst open.
  4. Combine the drained pasta with the tomato-garlic mixture in the skillet. Toss well; add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and fold in chopped basil and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined. Serve immediately.
