  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup fresh lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup toasted breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in cheddar and Gruyère until melted. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold cooked macaroni and lobster into the cheese sauce until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
