Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3–4 minutes).
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla until well combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture while alternating with milk; mix until just combined.
  6. Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  7. For frosting, beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar and mix in vanilla.
