  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add cooked fettuccine and sautéed shrimp to the sauce; toss gently to combine.
