  2. Cook the Potatoes: Boil in salted water until fork-tender (about 10-12 minutes). Drain and cool completely.
  3. Mash & Mix: In a bowl, mash cooled potatoes until smooth. Stir in flour, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
  4. Shape Tots: Form the mixture into small cylinders or balls.
  5. Fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or pot. Fry tater tots in batches until golden brown (4-5 minutes).
