  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (for the sauce)
  • Additional lemon juice and zest (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Rinse chicken wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and oregano until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the seasoned wings on the wire rack, ensuring space between each wing.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through cooking.
  6. Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat and stir in additional lemon juice and zest.
  7. Once the wings are baked, toss them in the melted butter mixture before serving.
