  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cans (4 oz each) mild green chiles
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt (for serving)
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep ingredients: Chop onion and mince garlic.
  2. Sauté aromatics: In a large pot over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add onion and garlic; cook until translucent (3-5 minutes).
