  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, and honey.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal tightly and marinate for at least 30 minutes (overnight is best).
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to high heat (400°F/200°C).
  4. Remove steak from marinade and allow excess liquid to drain. Grill or bake for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness.
  5. Let the steak rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
  6. Serve with fresh cilantro on top.
