  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides (5–7 minutes per side), reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Remove from skillet.
  4. Pour chicken broth into the skillet, scraping up any bits from the bottom. Simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream gradually and let simmer until thickened.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce, and let it cook together for another 5 minutes.
